DIY Mason Jar Wall Sconce

I recently picked up two boxes of canning jars at an estate sale for a whopping $4! While they didn't have all the lids, that didn't bother me because I planned on making wall sconces with them. Here's how:
I had a lovely old weathered board that was the perfect size to display three jars. The first thing I did was attach two sawtooth wall hangers to the back.
I purchased hose clamps at HD for about $1.50 a piece -- NOTE: They are located in the plumbing section and come in various sizes -- make sure to get the right size for your jars.
Then it's just a matter of drilling a pilot hole in the back of the clamp and screwing it in place. You then insert jar and tighten clamp -- voila!! The hardest part is deciding what to place in your jars!
I've styled mine with kernel corn and candles, but flowers, utensils, toiletry items ... take your pick! (If you're nervous of lighting candles, the battery operated ones are an excellent alternative.)
They turned out so cute, I cut down some additional boards to size to fit just one jar and painted and distressed them -- I like the single sconce, as well.
