Lampshade Spittin Creativity

Just a boring white lampshade from Walmart turned into a beautiful piece of art for my livingroom.
Mixed a few squirts of Blue Thunder (or any other shade) US with about 1/2" of water in a large bowl.
Placed the lampshade in the bowl on its top, and spritzed it a few times with some clear water.
Continued to spritz every 30 minutes or so for a couple of hours. When I took it out. It looked like this.
This is the scond one I did. Left it in the mixture overnight, so it is a richer color.
Here they are on my beautiful mercuryglass lamps and I love them!!! Going to seal with a couple of coats of spray on poly and will be able to wipe with a damp rag to keep clean.
