Chelsea Ship's Clock

Sugar and Spice
by Sugar and Spice
One of the treasures that came with our humble cottage is a ship's clock mounted on this unattractive home made ship's wheel. Any suggestions on how to display it's beauty without the wheel? When I turn the hands, the second hand works. I shall go on the hunt for a key. The clock was made by Gabriel Marine, Montreal, Halifax, N. Sydney. Canada

Nautical chic! I'd just paint it white or figure out a wau to remove the clock piece from the wood backing...

@Carolyn Smith Yes, it is a treasure. It's now mounted on a white wall without the backing and the clock works if you turn the hands. Now I'm on a hunt for the key.
