Carpet to laminate for allergies and dogs

Dust gravitates to carpet and so do dog hairs in addition if you have little rascals who have ever made accidents the accidents don't truly go away because it seeps into the carpet/foam underneath. Try doing laminate. It's easy to clean up and it's always on sale at Home Depot and Lowes. And it gives the room a larger feeling

I'm all for foregoing carpet in pet homes (I have), but laminate does not take to moisture well. I put in in my kitchen, but the more-than-occasional pee from my cats has caused it to warp and delaminate in places. I'm leaning towards porcelain tile with minimal grout lines and waterproofing.

I've just ridded myself of the last laminate. I have no love for it, but should it be necessary I'd go for floral patterns. They are refreshing and different now. Times change. laminate it is.
