I have my first cherry tomato plant and the tomatoes have finally turned red! Should I pick them , or might they still be growing? My hubby is afraid we're picking them too soon.

Hi, Polly! I say pick one and try it out. If it tastes good, you're ready to harvest! Some people even enjoy green tomatoes...it's all in what you want to consume. If the first tomato tastes great, they I'd say yes, they are ready to eat. Enjoy!!

If they are red they are ripe. Enjoy

Pick one and taste, if its ripe enough for your taste, then pick all that are about the same color. If you let them get to ripe sometimes grasshoppers or other bugs will start to chew on them. ENJOY!!
