Succulent Wine Glasses - Gifts That Keep on Giving

These succulent wine glasses are classy, don’t cost a lot and will carry on giving as the little baby plant grows. Oh and a succulent wine glass sounds so seductive.
To make these all you need is:

- Wine glasses

- Coarse river sand

- Potting soil

- Succulent off cuts

- Rust-Oleum multicolor textured spray paint

- Beads and baubles to make pretty
Using a plastic bag and some tape, mask the wine glass so that only a piece of the glass stem shows. Spray the bottoms of the wine glass with Rust-Oleum and wait for the paint to dry.
Once they're dry add 3 table spoons of potting soil and then three table spoons of coarse river sand. Plant the succulent off cuts in the mix and give her a few drops of water.
They make stunning gifts and look awesome as spring table decor.
I love succulents, they are some of the easiest plants to care for. This little one will soon out grow her wine glass and make many, many babies to enjoy and replant.

Off subject a bit... about the background plant... I bought one years ago for, like, $2.50 because it was SO unique. And it grew, and grew, and... remember the movie "The Little Shop of Horrors?" Yeah, it was like that. Last year at Christmastime I saw one half the size of mine which today stands 30" tall and is about 60" around. ...for real!! Do you know the name of that succulent? Thank you so much, Mary Kay

Will the succulent still grow if the glass was placed in the bathroom which is has good natural light.
