4th of July Decorations

by Jeanette S
With not much time to plan this year...I seemed to have run out of time...I did manage to find a couple of things to put on my mailbox and garden. I just have to put out something red-white-blue for this very special day! I particularly like the one with the rockets in the flowerbed and the flag in the background! HAPPY HOLIDAY TO ALL OF YOU! Be safe, have fun, and get back to posting your projects!

ladies, a number of years ago we had a severe drought here in Georgia. I promised The Lord to NEVER complain about rain again - and I have kept my promise. The deer like all the lush growth and help me keep in in check, including on the Hosta's, Roses etc. this year they seem to like everything, even plants they never even looked at before. Have great July 4th, we need to be thankful that we can still celebrate it. :-)

Rose S, thanks for reminding me that I too live in GA and have had droughts for so long that this is the first year in many that my sod has been so lush! I am grateful for the rain...I guess it is just that in our area, it has been brutal...and frightening! These storms scare me since we live in Dunwoody which seems to get hit with every front that goes through! I think perhaps the river being so close is a magnet for the bad winds...???
