An extra cabinet door - what do I do with it?

My husband is always thinking of me when he sees off-the-wall stuff because I love the act of creating! Well, I'm stumped. I have this beautiful cabinet door that was a trial sample that they threw in the garbage. Anyone have any ideas? The door is 44" top to bottom and 22" across. It's also 1" thick. Not sure if you can tell in the pics, but it has 3 different finishes on the front!

Paint the actual "frame" of the door, and I would use the back side of the door, a complimentary color for your home. Paint the centre panel in chalkboard paint either in the traditional black or any of the colors that it comes in now that also matches or compliments your decor. Add an upsie down half moon cabinet handle to hold the chalk and maybe add hooks to hang keys, etc. Use a two piece (french) cleat to hang it.

Paint with chalkboard paint... OR cover it with tin as a magnetic board OR paint to match kitchen, place an old drawer pull on each end and use as a tray

I will post my finished creation, based off of the user suggestions, when it's done!

I used a leftover cabinet door as a shelf for my cable box in the kitchen. I mounted it using decorative brackets and hung it above my TV.

Is the door solid enough to use as a table. Attach to two "A" type frames, paint a colour depending where you might put it, and place glass on top. Goodluck.
