    Has the whole floor cupped?

If so, what is the size of the floor and, is it now completely dry?

Sanding the place will lower the bow, but the complete floor will need to be sanded as well before refinishing it.

I would consider the health of your subfloor as well, Rob. You may have a bigger problem than just an unsightly bow.

Is it the individual planks that have warped? Is there a sag in a large area of the floor?

You should replace the bowed wood with new, check the subfloor when it is out.

Pull the damaged boards....weave in new....sand and re-finish. A "band-aide" fix could work but will still look different.

The hardware store sells an angled braket that, if you can get to it from below, you can screw your flooring down into the floor joist from below. It actually draws it down.
