Toy Crib Planter

I bought this toy crib at a thrift store last winter for about $2, even then planning to use it as a planter. I painted my house number on each end with nail polish.

Thanks! The sprouts in the photo were tomatoes from seed which never went any further than this. I bought a mature tomato plant and transplanted it into a deep round container and our recent rains drowned it. But I bought a mature bell pepper plant and put it in the crib and it is going great guns--has at least 4 rapidly growin peppers on it already.

How small is it? It looks tiny but is that just the angle of the picture? Do you have another photo from a different angle? This is too cute.

It's about 2' long by 1' wide and 1' high. I figure some child used to put dolls in it, and just grew up so it got donated to the thrift store. The floor of the crib was actually kind of loose, so I lined it with plastic wrap to keep the dirt in, just poked a few holes here and there for drainage.
