DIY Industrial Pan Rack

Our kitchen does not have a lot of room to store any pans. So we needed another way to store them and we came up with this industrial pan rack to hang from the wall.
We used standard conduit pipe that you find at the hardware store.
First we created the pipe frame to attach to the wall.
Then we attached the frame to our kitchen wall (we found some studs in the wall).
For the shelf (wood), we cut the wood to the length we wanted. Then we sanded and stained the wood using Provincial by Minwax. After the stain dried, we applied a coat of Polycrylic to the wood.
Then we attached the shelf to the pipe frame.
We added some hooks to hang the pans from.
This project cost us less than $50 to complete. And now we have a cool way to store our kitchen pans.

Don't the pans get greasy from hanging over the stove?
