Flowering Cilantro :(

Ive read once they flower there is no hope for leaves. I bought a plant at a Nursery and put it in the ground .. no fertilizer/food .. and it started producing flowers within 2wks. So need to buy another.. what should I do next go around to yield a big bush? :-D

Grow them from seed. They are easy to start. The early heat spell we had probably made them flower. They grow Cilantro in Canada (they call it coriander) We only call the seeds coriander)

Keep what I have and make coriander?

Will hunt for seeds next! Thank you. Any recommendations for organic fertilizer and bug deterrent for herbs and some veges? I have over 6 herbs.. and some peppers and one cherry tomato plant

BeckySue, if you want to try to harvest your own coriander seeds, wait till the flower heads are dry then cut the stalk and stick the whole thing upside down in a big paper bag and leave it in a dry spot for a couple of weeks. Then give the stalk a good shake and all the coriander seeds should fall off. Herbs are pretty generally their own bug deterrent.
