Are You Decorating Your Bike For The Fourth Of July?

I'm not talking motorcycles here either. I bought this vintage early '60's tricycle at a barn sale a few weeks ago. Originally I was going to put it in my garden, but decided I wanted to keep it relatively rust free, so for now it's porch decor. It will probably worm its way into my Christmas decor later this year too.
I started out with small patriotic goals for it, but the more I played with it, the more I got into the whole decorating thing. That's what happens when you give me craft supplies and a reason to use them.
You gotta have a basket full of flowers
Here is Trixie The Tricycle all decked out for the Fourth. I used a Hobby Lobby garland to weave through the wheels
Yes, there is only one wheel that still has a tire on it. It just means she has been ridden a lot and well loved - nothing wrong with that.
I gathered up some crepe paper by sewing a straight line down the middle and pulling the ends and then glued a print on top of it (from The Graphics Fairy)
This is what she looked like before I glammed her up for the Fourth.
My favorite part of the tricycle - so Mad Men-ish!
