DIY Step Ladder Beverage Station

I love old step ladders and I pick them up when I find them. Not only are the great to have on hand, but you can repurpose them into so many projects. This little guy was perfect for a beverage station because of the painter's tray it had.
The first thing we did was cut a hole in the painter's tray to fit a galvanized bucket we had.
Then, I made an easy tray out of scrap wood we had in the garage. I used heavy-duty twine for the handles. This tray adds more storage and is great for serving drinks from.
I added some misc. hardware we had to the side to hang towels from. I painted the ladder a fun blue color and distressed it a little with sand paper.
Now, this step ladder is the perfect beverage station for backyard BBQ's and pool parties!
You can see a full list of supplies I used (including paint color) on this project along with detailed instructions on how to make one of your own on my blog post.
