My friend gave me two small moonflower plants, she says they don't climb but everything I read on the internet says they do. I need some advice folks, anyone grow these? Thanks and have a great day!

I love moon flowers! They are so pretty at light when they open. If there is any moon light they seem to glow! Nice fragrance too!

Don't plant these close to your house. The person I bought my house from had planted them in a flower bed close to the house and they were running up under the siding on the house. They are very hard to control. I would plant them on a trellis.

Oh, you lucky moon flower gardeners! My hubby has planted moonflowers three consecutive years and couldn't get them to grow. Must be our climate here in South Dakota.

The moon flowers I have are not climbers. I grow them in pots on my patio. They have a wonderful fragrance. There are different types of plants that are called moon flowers.
