Lilies by Our Driveway

Lilies are one of the fragrant joys of the garden in July! We have quite a few here and there this year. These dwarf, pink lilies are always a favorite by our walk from the back door to the car.
Happy Independence Day!I hope you have beautifully sunny weather where you are to enjoy the festivities!

Dwarf Asiatic lilies blooming on the edge of our Driveway Garden this week.
These pink lilies are surrounded by other plants in bloom, such as Clematis 'Henryetta' on the trellis, lady's mantle (Alchemilla mollis), and Lavender 'Munstead Wood'. Fescue 'Elijah Blue' is in the lower right corner, catching lily
We had quite a few thunderstorms this week, which really perked up the plants. I caught some rain drops on these lilies after a good rain one afternoon.
