Be it ever so humble there truly is no place like home.

This is our home and 4 acres. When we bought this home all we had was mud. It has been a work in progress and little by little we are making progress. The contractor that built this house bulldozed every tree on the property. I just don't understand why in this day and age they still do that.

Tell us about your guineas do they stay in yard pretty well? Do you have to pen at night? I know they help with tick and other pest but we don't have fenced yard and always thought they would be more trouble than worth keeping in yard and safe.

@Betty Miller Guineas are a wild animal. They do not stay in a yard even with a fence. They will get out and roam the neighborhood. Up to 20 miles in a day. Then when they come home they can't seem to get into the yard like they got out.

Thanks for the answer. Your house is lovely. I really like the drain you rocked and the bridge. Thats a lot of work but will help keep dirt and water where you want them, plus it looks great.
