    Paul M, the lamp is not an antique. It has that appeal and i've grown attatched, It was not very costly. It appears that it will be cheaper to replace it rather than to restore it. Marta S, thanks for the info will keep in mind for future reference.

      @Cooper S Ever think about decorating it? Like gluing trim over the crack. Trim with jute and buttons or something fancier with jewels along side or even flowers. I've done this to picture frames and mirrors. Here's a plate I fixed.

    You could just use battery operated candle in it. Turn it so crack is in back. No one will know but you.
