Window Sun Catching Glass Frames....

I made these for a friend. She wanted a wine bottle. This was my crude attempt, never had done one like this before.
My 2attempts at wine bottle..I added a glass!
The two on the right were ones I did a few years ago, just fooling around. The flower is my kindergarten attempt...but it is so simple in nature it actually looks good when sun comes through.

I use GE Silicone clear outdoor or bath caulk for glue. Frames..dollar tree.

I really did not know how to make this....I used a pattern but.....it still got out of hand. She likes the purple bottle best! But now I have an idea, and can do better if I do it again! Oh you will notice the pour part is not like pouring should be. But who cares?

I think they're lovely Bernice. It's difficult to try get round stones to fit together nicely and you did a great job. You're a super friend

Thank you Michelle. Our new house has lots of sun coming in,and they look good from inside or outside. I haven't been able to do any crafting with these latest 2 moves, remodeling. Once we are done...who knows. Yesterday I broke a globe I had made a few years ago( I posted ).... just one of those ceiling lights, covered in round flat gems. So that will have to be replaced too. I love glass and bling! South Africa...still blows me away. You must be the farthest away........isn't technology great most times? 👍
  • Great idea to use frames. These came out super! Love them and on your first try too! ♥

    • It's hard when all your pieces are round and about the same size. My dragonfly wings didn't come out anywhere near where I envisioned them. Good thing I'm NOT a perfectionist! LOL
