Does anyone have any recommendations on getting rid of slugs?

I have used coffee grounds and there has been a big reduction, but they are still showing up occasionally and I can see proof that they are eating on my hostas.

Epsom salt worked for me ! Sprinkle Epsom salts where they glide

Try diatomaceous earth, the horticultural type, not what you use in pools.

I use beer baits in my garden. Get a six pack of really cheap beer and pour about a 1/4 cup in the bottom of a shallow plastic bowl. I place the bowl down in the soil a bit for easy slug access. The slugs love the smell and head right for it, but then fall in and can't get out. It's a little gross to empty each morning, but it sure works!

We've also had luck with the beer thing - for slugs that it.
