I am looking for a cheaper item, just like the one in the link above. It needs sides so I can hang it in my kitchen to put cutting boards.

If you are near Ikea you might find some things there that would work. Some people use vinyl rain gutters to hold picture books, might work for cutting boards too. Lots of info on net if you google rain gutters for children's books.

Start checking local thrift stores. They may have something similar in office supplies. Or repurpose a magazine holder. Bookends secured to a wall mounted shelf could hold your cutting boards. My largest cutting board measures 24" x 24.5" x 1.25". I drilled two holes at one end and ran some rawhide lacing through them. It hangs from hooks at the end of my cabinets. Don't forget to treat your cutting boards to a little food safe mineral oil to prevent them from drying out and cracking.
