Junk Birdbath Becomes Garden Statuary

5 Minutes
Easy
Of course this project cost nothing. Sometimes all it takes to repurpose something is to move it. Such was the case with this lovely iron bird bath that had served us well for years, but had succumbed to rust. I couldn't part with it, I wouldn't paint it, and so it sat, neglected until I decided to turn our front yard into an extension of several gardens. I am now enjoying the bird bath again.
The bird bath in its new home, surrounded by beauty.
How well it blends in with its environment.
Here is the base in all its weathered beauty. It was subject to harsher conditions than the upper section, and it shows.

Another great 'reuse' idea! this is why I put most of my garden 'decor' every winter, then each spring I can try something in a new way or place, if I want.
