I personally have not spray painted drawer pulls , So far I have done my hinges. I will be doing my hard ware .There are so many bloggers on here that have had great results . Most have used Rustoleum spray paint. Good luck.

I used brushed nickel and it worked well. All of the cabinet hardwares in my house are sprayed.

YES! I did it to save money since we had so many hinges, pulls and knobs! I put the gold knobs in the dishwasher to get gunk off, then soaked them in acetone to get any lacquer off, washed them in hot sudsy water and let them dry completely. I then put a wooden skewer in hole and stuck that into styrofoam, used Rustoleum metal primer spray paint on them, after that dried I used antique copper spray paint and VOILA! "New" cabinet knobs and hardware!!!

I too used Brushed Nickel and had great results. However, after two years the handles are showing some signs of wear. I probably should have sprayed them with a clear finish before installing them. Best of luck.

Absolutely! In our former home we had a fairly large kitchen with 19 door/drawer all metal cabinet hardware. We did update the kitchen but the hardware was going to blow the budget so we purchased 3 cans of spray paint for about $20.00 and rigged up a spray box on our patio. We were in that house for 15 years and I never had a problem with the cabinet hardware at all. Make sure that there are no plastic parts to the existing hardware since it will wear off.

Yes spraying did worked, use the spray for metal. It's cheaper than buying each drawer pulls for $3-$7 bucks.
