Looking for lost treasure
In the early to mid nineties, I had a defrosting tool that I have not been able to find again. My original one was taken in a divorce. This tray was made from some sort of metal. It was coated with a non-stick finish. I could place a frozen steak on it and it would defrost in about half an hour. It absorbed heat from the air I guess. The tray would stay cold and I never worried about my food starting to cook as when I used the microwave. I loved this kitchen tool and would love to find another one. Any ideas?
