Just returned from a garden tour in England, fantastic! Toni Adler took this photo of me in front of a 400 year old Chestnut tree.

First, how fortunate you are to get to do a garden tour of England; you had to have had a blast! So...........this is what a 400 yr. old tree looks like. Wow! Massive, and commands respect! Your appearing w/it helps us put its size into perspective. Wow again.

thanks Becky. Yes, what you don't see is to the left the giant branch that touches the ground and a baby tree that grew there. Tour included visit

(my first) to Chelsea Flower Show. I will post photos soon. Earthbound Expeditions runs a great trip and I got to go along as the horticultural cheerleader of sorts.

Jane, I would imagine so, I can check with the owner of the garden

her name is Lady Fitzwalter and she has gardened there at Goodnestone for over 60 years.
