I made this tile tray for my kitchen counter-top. It's easy to wipe off oil or water and looks neat.
I used these:

11x14" marble lookalike tile (you can choose the size/color of your choice)

Wooden spheres (or beads) from Hobby Lobby, these come in a pack of 16 for $3.99. Use your coupon.

Glue. I use E6000 for my projects but on this day I could not find it so ended using glue from dollar store which also works fine.
I turned the tile upside down. The wooden spheres comes with one hole, so applied glue on the opposite side which has a flat surface.
Suggested materials:
  • Tile   (Homedepot)
  • Wooden beads/spheres   (Hobby Lobby)
  • Glue   (Walmart)

Do you think this would work on a granite slab cutting board that was made to match my countertop??

cute idea, I have a granite tile 12x12 that I would like to use to protect my quartz counter top from heat, but the cats pee on it and it gets under, I know they would ruin the wood feet if I tried that too - any suggestion instead? Maybe flat marbles?
