Please, help to save my favorite sweater!

Hi there! Please, help me to choose the best way how to remove lint from sweater. I am more about to buy a lint removal, but not sure which one is the best. Did anyone tried one of them? Thanks in advance!

I am 77 yo, wore turtle neck sweaters to school. Under a heavy winter coat, they had "kittens" running all over them. Save your disposable razors, lay the sweater flat (I used to drape them over my legs) and shave CAREFULLY all areas. You'd be amazed, but takes a while, how neat the sweater comes clean of all lumps and bumps of the pills. Good luck
