My Top Five Flowers for Arrangements

There are so many choices for cutting flowers. So many plants you can choose from to grow your own cutting flowers. Picking a select number of them is difficult...but I've selected five that will grow almost anywhere. There may be better choices...but I selected these because their ease of care and versatility. These are a few pictures...there are more on my site.
This is one way you can grow your choices for cutting flowers
Cone flowers are one of the easiest perennials to grow. They are gorgeous...smell wonderful, come in many colors and the butterflies love them.
Red hot pokers come in a mixture of reds, oranges and yellows. They're sturdy and spread like crazy.
Zinnias are annuals, but so easy to grow and are the PERFECT plant to grow every year for your floral arrangements.
Yes...you're seeing this right. Asparagus is one of the most perfect plant to grow for cutting. Believe it or not, asparagus is not only good to eat...but it is amazing in a vase!

    Haven't I heard asparagus can be invasive? I love the idea of growing it but . . .

      @Jennie Brooks Asparagus fern can be invasive, not edible asparagus.

    I LOVE the wheelbarrow....do you have several pots with each with each group of flowers in a different pot?
