recycling a lamp globe

very simple electric light

this was a lone lamp globe spotted who knows where....decided to make a nite lite ...all I did was add a small electric bulb underneath...

    Well geez - how'd I miss this??? I love the old fashioned Victorian looking globes!!

    Mary, do you think the candle would sit in that pretty little glass thingy in the back left of the picture - and then would the globe base sit on top of that? Just curious - but might be too top heavy.

    I'm so glad you liked it....I tried to make your idea work when I first started but as you said it was too top heavy...Need to find something with a wider base but no luck Yet...still looking....Dont you love to re-purpose things? Its fun! Mary

    I love it! The globe is so sweet! Wherever did you find such a nice pretty globe? The ones I find are all white. However I have glued half marbles on to them, then inserted those little xmas lights, and put on a stand! This is so pretty!
