Looks very welcoming. I'm ready for a beach vacation. When can I come stay? -
Love the lighter curtains and it seems the new bed position gives more room! Good job. -
Great job, Laurie! -
Thanks everyone, I wanted to brighten up the room, but yet give it a cozy beach feeling. I love the new drapes, got them from J.C. Penney, had seen them at the store in 84 length for $16 a panel, but when I went online, I was shocked to find that the 63 length panels we only $5 a panel. Best Deal I have found in a long time. As for the bed position, I hadn't thought of that, I have to credit my dad for that...it gave it a totally different look. -
Very nice and INVITING!!! -
Lovely and inviting. Gonna be a guest there anytime. -
Doesnt it feel good to look at somethig in a different way? And you may hate this, but I would love to get my hands on your dresser! yep, I would paint it, have seen them look stunning in black with new knobs! I do like the changes you have made. -
BTW..is that a bead curtain on the wall? cool! -
That is actually a shell curtain. I saw that when I first moved down here at a Flea Market in Bradenton, called the Red Barn Flea Market and had to have it. There is a a store in the market that sells strictly beachy things, and I am not sure if they have a online store or not. But if you ever get to FLorida, would be worth the visit. -
I really like the after photos the best! The lighter curtains really woke the room up! Good choice!
