DIY Chandelier With Shade for Under $20

Bliss at Home
by Bliss at Home
Instead of buying a new ceiling fixture for our foyer, we used our old one as the foundation. We added a shade, crystals, and greek key trim all for under $20.
Turn any existing ceiling light into a chadelier with a shade.
The original fixture. I removed the glass but kept the rest to use as a foundation.I clipped chandelier crystals along the bottom.
I scored some sale items to use.
To hang it to the existing foundation I fashioned two telescoping rods from garage sale sign stakes.
I used Ferrule & Stop to make them adjust to the right size
I glued them in place. They adjust and lock to the size you want them to be.
They attach to the top of the shade and the frame of the old fixture.
We love the finished prodcut.
We decided to leave the brass since we are loving gold right now.
At night.
