Pallet Coffee Table

I had a pallet that I have been saving, knowing that one day the right project would come along. I finally made this coffee table for my college daughter! I found an old wooden blind while cleaning out a closet and used the slats as the top.
I added some 4x4's to give a little extra height, and mdf on the top and bottom.
Decoupaged some craft paper on the underneath shelf for storage space.
I spray painted the slats from the wood blind and stapled on top.
I painted the design, lightly distressed and wiped on then quickly wiped off some gray stain. Finished with a clear coat.

Made With Love, and I am sure your daughter will brag to her college friends once they see it and then to say, "oh, ask her if she can make me one!" You'd be amazed how grown children really do appreciate...I'm sure this will become a family piece to last for her lifetime to pass down to the next...:)
