One really nice thing about canvas floor cloths- when your dog pees on it- you just wipe it off. Not true of large ,wool, imported, expensive, hard to clean, giant area rugs. How do I know this??????????

Yes, I make these. My company, http://www.canvasworksfloorcloths.com, has been going for 19 years. I've painted over 800 (YIKES!) floorcloths in that time!
    • A happy accident! In preparing color variations for a new museum project, I hit the wrong button in Photoshop and came up with this. I love it!

I LOVE YOUR WORK!! What type of final top coat finish do you use? Is it an oil based poly or a water based poly? How well does the canvas floor cover hold up to dining room chairs if I were to have one under my dining room table?

Lisa is the BEST!!!!! Her pre-hemmed canvas floorcloths are the finest quality and the only ones I will purchase. Don't waste your money on the flimsy Michael's version. Huge difference in quality.

    Thanks, Janet!

In answer to your question, Kelly, the floorcloths are finished with several layers of marine grade exterior clear coat- the stuff they use on boats! It is extremely durable and remains flexible for years and years. As long as you put felt protectors on the bottoms of your chair legs, floorcloths hold up extremely well under dining room tables. My 19 year old ones are still going strong! See ...»
