@Seasons of Fun Decor-Casey Adams , would love to see a post on how you covered your countertops with paperbags. I've seen the floors but this is first time I've seen countertops. How do they hold up? Are you covering laminate counters?

@Margaret Diggs The headline of this post states that she simply painted the countertops, however although I do not have images to show you I used the paper bag method on counters and they held up beautifully over 5 years or more. It was a very old counter with glued on edges that were partially removed. I took them off completely and covered the entire thing with torn paper bags. To further make the edges appear as leather I used leather tacks spaced evenly around the edge. I used marine quality poly for the finish.

Love the idea of the leather tacks. I bet it really looked good @Pat Dollar
