I have seen fabric spray paint, at Joann's fabrics. However because the chair has a velvet or chenille look, I might recommend the amazing slip covers I've seen recently, in every shape imaginable. I was surprised at the selection right on the shelf at Target, but am certain you can find any look online:)

There are a number of "how to" vidoes on YouTube on painting upholstery with chalk paint. It's a mult-step process, but looks fairly simple. You sand the fabic after painting to restore a soft, leather-like texture. It won't cost a penny to search youtube for "paint upholstery with chalk paint" and see if it's something you'd like to try. I'm definitely going to, eventually. Good luck!

Tried it on a couch. I used fabric paint especially for furniture. It was not quick and easy and it made the fabric feel "different". I ended up donating it.

I've used the spray paint for vinyl, from PepBoys many times. & that product is awesome! I used it on antique "hair stylist" chairs at my salons. The paint was flawless, & obviously sat on & worn hard, for years. Held up beautifully. I wouldn't hesitate to use this on my own priceless, vintage car:)
