Is it ok to till weeds under where you are planting a vegetable garden

    You will mix the seeds from the weeds in to the garden.

    You should use a hoe and remove them at root level before you setup a garden.

    Once you've done that, install a weed barricade cloth b/4 you plant the veggies or, eventually, the weeds will return.

    It seems like a hassle, but pulling each weed once (particularly while the soil is loose) is easier than continually pulling them as the seeds keep re-growing the weeds.
