Painting Furniture

I found Pinterest well into it's existence, started doing (lots of) projects, and was talked into started a blog. This all happened in about 10 months. I've been hooked! So, the next logical step is for me to try to start a business with this blog and my projects, which of late consist of painting furniture. My town has a few antique shops. I met with the owner of one, and he is allowing me to be a consignor. I also teach and have 2 under 3. I have been working furiously on getting painted projects to him so that I can start to make some money! This blog post is all about before and afters (because who doesn't love those) of the furniture I've painted since Memorial Day.
There are no tutorials for these pictures yet, but they will be coming! I love when you share, like, and clip my stuff!!! It makes me think that I may be able to pull this gig off! You're the best!

Desk 1/2 way through! I forgot to take an after, but I did dark wax the rest of it. This was my second piece and didn't realize I was supposed to clear wax first, but I've had a good response to the color.

I haven't seen anything about clear wax first. Are you talking about before painting or before using the dark wax?
