so cute!! -
I have seen so many projects that I want. It is so hard to know where to begin. Love them all. -
make a hole on the back side with dowel for birds to land and open the door and put crushed straw for nesting of birds -
Bea, just pick a project an dive right in and enjoy! -
I have an old farm mailbox that I found in an antique store and I too use it for storing my yard tools. I keep it next to my potting bench! -
We just replaced our old mailbox and I've been planning to take down the old one and get rid of it. Now I know what to do with it. -
The old mailbox makes a great little dog house also, for a dachsund. -
That is such a cute idea, Karen. have you made one? I'd love to see a picture! -
I do have a picture, but it was done several years ago with my first dachshund. She weighed about 15 lbs. and fit comfortablly in the box. We still laugh about the fit, and even laugh more if we left her in the box just before the mailman would come. -
LOL, that would be hilarious! -
Love this -
Thanks Tammy! -
we have turned our old mailbox into a brid house next to a ush red flag and all -
I love this idea! -
I painted my old mailbox and then turned it into a bread box in our kitchen. When it is full the flag is up and down when empty. -

Thank you Pat! -
i have a set of old wash tubs still attached to the stand w/casters. I'd like to use this on my porch for annuals. I'm afraid of it rusting out from watering. do you treat the inside of the tubs before planting?
