Spring Landscape Photos

I didn't realize that the HT profile had a 'featured photos' section. Since the only two pics I had ever posted were of my sickly Nelly Stevens Holly, I thought I would add a few to update the view! Here are pics of the house and a few spring blooms from earlier this year. I've been doing a lot of landscaping since we moved into this house a few years ago and this is the first spring I have been able to enjoy some of the fruits of my labor. Most of these flowering shrubs are from side yard beds that I have installed. Things are coming along nicely but it will be another year or two before my plan comes together fully I think.
Please enjoy!
Front view of the house.
Camelia Japonica 'Greensboro Red'
Forsythia 'Kumson' - this variety is variegated when it leafs out.
Carolina Sweetshrub (Calycanthus Floridus). I'm still trying to find an Athens Calycanthus locally.
Daruma Lorapetalum
Kerria Japonica 'Pleniflora'. First time I have grown this and I am really enjoying it!
Vanhoutte Spirea
Allium (Mount Everest)
Chinese Snowball Viburnum (Viburnum Macrocephalum) - also a new plant for me that I now wonder why I haven't grown before!
Redbud (Cercis Canadensis 'Forest Pansy') - this variety has beautiful deep purple leaves all summer long
Hoops Blue Spruce - Picea pungens 'Hoopsii' - took a while to source one this size (almost 8' tall) but finally found it at a semi-reasonable price. My FAVORITE tree! It's beginning to do very well as spring/summer progresses.
The state flower of NC - American Dogwood (Cornus Florida). One of many growing wild in the woods around the house
Saucer Magnolia (Magnolia x Soulangiana 'Jane')

Those robust flowers sure beat a holly that's feeling poorly, Randy!

Thanks Alexandra. I agree Barb! Good thing is that the holly has recovered well so although I never positively identified the issue, it's gone now. May have to do w/ my treating it w/ Isotox (I know that makes all the organic folks shuddder w/ dread!).
