Primitive Farmhouse Table/Island

I had this table that I picked up from CL for $20, at first I thought I would use it as a display table in my booth but the more I looked at it I yearned to make it into an island. The height is not quite there for an island but I thought if I added wheels that might help. My husband helped with this project as their was a piece all the way through the middle of the bottom shelf and we had to practically take it apart, put it back together than we had to brace it up big time! We never could figure out why the middle piece was in there in the first place.
