All three plant s have these holes in the leaves and not sure how to treat or prevent.
Any ideas?

I am suspecting some type of caterpillar, Theresa. I would try a course of Bt, Bacillus thuringiensis.

My mother uses Rose Dust to keep insects off of her rose bushes. It has always worked very well. It is a basic Bonide Product and can be found at nurseries as well as hardware stores and I believe Wal-Mart also carries it. The cost is usually around $8. If you are unsure of the kind of bug eating the leaves they do sell one called Bonide 8 Insect Control, it is a bout $15.
