I came across this vintage cooler at a garage sale and bought it for it's great vintage look and wonderful red color. But I thought it needed something to add some interest.
I settled on this great "America" stencil that I already had on hand. I have a special "secret" paint application tool that I use all the time when I stencil--makeup sponges!
Here's the before--see what I mean? Kind of plain Jane, right?
It's pretty amazing what a simple stencil can do. And the awesome thing about this cooler--it's a holiday decoration, cooler, and extra seating all in one! Get more details on my blog :)
