Backyard Updates: Creating an Outdoor Oasis
Creating a backyard oasis doesn't have to be expensive.
Adding a new coat of stain to a tired looking deck, replacing an old light fixture or defining a space with outdoor rugs can have high impact.

After getting the foundational pieces in place, I added outdoor decor pieces like a colorful umbrella, outdoor pillows and a lantern.
To keep it simple, I opted for green and white plants.

That's such an interesting umbrella, Shauna! Love the teal and how the stand isn't at the center! Leaves room for so much more space without sacrificing the shade.
