The Rockstars of the July Garden
Here are a few of my favourite plants for the late summer garden. Its a time when many plants are looking tired.
Dahlia 'Park Princess'
Dahlia 'Honka'
Dahlia 'Mango Sunset'
Zinnia are wonderful and easy to grow from seed.
This Rose just keep on blooming.
Rudbeckia is a personal favourite with its long bloom time.
Buddleia attracts butterflies to your garden. This is a variegated form that is not invasive here.

Very pretty. I always struggle picking things for the summer bloom time. Dahlias are not hardy to my area. I may have to try them anyway.

Dahlias have to be brought in over winter here but they are easy to store.
