Our Backyard Transformation

We started with a sloped backyard and a rotting deck. We worked and worked (and then hired a guy with a backhoe) and finally, we had a backyard suitable for entertaining! It's been a labour of love, and we're thrilled with how it turned out!
Let's have a cup of tea and chat about the saga that is this backyard, shall we?
Bye deck! Tell the supports "Thanks" for collapsing during a family dinner (Only 2 feet off the ground. Phew!)
Machines, dirt, and patience later: we've ready to build forms and pour the cement for the patio.
Stamped concrete patio and freshly laid sod. It's happening!
And here it is now: dining area and sitting area.
It's lovely to have the shade and a comfy space to sit.
We were a little unorthodox in fencing choice: we picked black chain link.
But we love it! It lets the green belt become a focal point in the backyard!

I am presuming black chain link fencing may only be available in Canada? I've never seen nor heard of it here in US. It's much better looking than the aluminum.
