Project Blah to BOLD!

Turning a contractor-grade blah door into BOLD curb appeal!
I buy old, ugly, and neglected houses and flip them all by myself! It's a crazy DIY, house-flipping life, so come follow along at my blog: The Bachelorette Pad Flip- https://bachelorettepadflip.wordpress.com/
Step 1: You need an ugly door. Maybe not ugly, but at least blah. On Flip I definitely had a blah door. Talk about no character or charm!
Step 2: Prime. I opted to prime in addition to the paint/primer mix because there were stains on the door I wanted to mask.
Step 3: Fall in love with a paint color like I did. [if you're curious about the brand and paint name, check out my blog for details!]
Step 4: Give the door a couple coats of the paint, and then step back & admire all of your hard work. And by hard work, I mean just using a paint roller for a couple hours.

My door is stained in some 1970's dark wood stain. Can I do this to a stained door? How will I know if anyone answers this question?

Thanks for the tip on painting steel doors. I decided I was going to paint both my front and back door and wasn't sure what paint to use. Definitely know what to do now.

I also have the same door. We live in a planned unit development and have a side entrance.
