Most replacement windows are manufactured locally to your area. Sure, the big window suppliers-Andersen, Pella and Marvin offer replacement windows, but a "no-name" vinyl window looks just as good. A big factor in windows is the energy rating that is offered. Shop around to see how each window operates, locks, etc. Most replacement window suppliers can fabricate custom windows to fit your existing openings if need be. I would consider the warranty as a big selling point. Some companys offer lifetime replacement of glass through fogging and or breakage. It may not seem like a big deal innitially, but down the road it really pays off to have the gaurantees on this product.
