Paint "Color Lock" siding

Years ago, we sided our house with Color Lock siding....we are not so much in love with the color now. Does anyone know if you can paint it?

We did not paint the house so, four years later....We are now in the "need to" instead of want to paint...the siding is in good shape but looks shabby. The finish is worn. We have been told to clean as mentioned above, prime and paint. Just checking to see if anyone has any other advice?
