What to do with this large shade?

The house we bought had a few interesting things left behind. This rather large shade, very flexible was left and I've kept it for the past 4 years thinking I'd like to do something with it. Would love some ideas on what to do. It's about 6 feet by 8 feet give or take.., I didn't measure it.

I'm not sure from the picture how durable it is but perhaps you could stencil a pattern onto the shade and use it as an outdoor mat on your patio. It would also look really nice as wall art.

Maybe it was used as a shade to keep on your garage to have a party, etc. to keep lowering as the sun sets.

It looks like a blind for a window. Alternatively you could use it as one. Hang it in the same way that you would hang a Roman blind so as to lift it up and down. You might even find that it fits perfectly into a particular window. Use some spray paint and stencils to give it a touch of glamour.

Stencil a design on it or spray paint a large design or free hand a big design. I just put a shade like this up on my porch yesterday.

Stencil a design and hang on the patio ceiling. The texture will help cut echos while entertaining, and bring interest to the 5th wall.

We are going to use a blind like this for roll up privacy/sun screen on pergola. Also thought of painting a design on it. I'm not a free hand painter, but a stencil would be perfect.

I have two of these. In the process of working on now..... Painting, free hand stenciling and gluing on some of those glass discs from dollar tree, and hanging from ceiling on porch. Stringing white Christmas lights in rafters above the blind for ambiant lighting. Will be hanging it so it swags slightly between the rafters.

As a privacy blind for your deck, paint it a color you like, then stencil-think of a theme, island, garden, country, etc.

Great for privacy shade at front lawn, maybe put down a patio space out of recycled bricks, small round rocks smoothed flat and pour cement over, sand. Maybe build wood cover boards.

I think it would work on our patio, great idea! Thanks so much!

What if you used it to cover up an ugly floor. I'm thinking an ugly concrete porch. Stiffen it some how or glue it??? (don't know about that) then stencil or paint.

That could be interesting! Not sure how comfy it would be on the feet? Would be a conversation piece! Thanks!
