You know I really like this unpainted. I just finished a very patriotic one for July 4th! -
Sometimes less is more. Because of the garden seat at the base, I did not want to add any more color. My next one is going to have a milk can base and the pots will be painted white with black "cow spots" on it and the top pot will be shaped like a honey pot -
we have the same tower in our back yard. such a conservation piece, too. we change the flowers out every year. our neighbor loves to come look at our back yard every year to see what we have done/added so she can get ideas (or 'steal' ours) for her yard as well. -
LOL, we have the same thing happening here. I try to do things very different so no one can copy my exactly -

I am new to gardening. I apologize to you. I wasn't trying to say that this doesn't look nice. -
My only reason for using this website is to learn. Evidentally, I made a huge mistake. It will not happen again. -
Judy, we all want to learn, which is why I pointed out why the rebar was there and why a stepping stone would not work. I actually thought about a stepping stone to set the chinese garden seat on until my hubby pointed out that there was a possibility that it could crack if he drilled it. By using the concrete ring to set the seat on we solved the problem. Lighten up and enjoy! Thats what HomeTalk is all about
